Re: OS4Coding.net
Pretty cool to have such kind of sites.
But imho UB (was) the best place because there all the amiga and amiga-like oses was discussed, and while someone have some problems on aos4, some morphos or aros coders help with it as well. Sadly that UB are not updated anymore, and all those malware/broken and unfixed problems annoy very well, and ppls start to not use UB anymore :( I wish you luck with yout site. Maybe you should try to put banner on UB.net (if admin of UB are alive) for more PR. Some ppls still use UB from time to time even with all that problems which site have. |

Re: OS4Coding.net
Seems like a good idea, would be nice to see some step-by-step beginners guides, e.g. for porting SDL games.
My own project to make a docky for Mixer has come to a halt through lack of know how. So some guide on how to write a docky would be useful to me. Hope it's well supported. |

Re: OS4Coding.net
@Daniel
The easiest way is just to register Mixer through application.library. I guess, though, that you want the volume to be controlled directly from sliders on the dock? (certainly, that's what I'd be wanting to do). The best approach here might be to write a standalone docky which sends the volume commands to the Mixer application running in the background. There is some sample standalone docky code in the SDK, I think, it's not the easiest to follow though and I can see why you'd give up. My own standalone docky project failed to get off the ground too. |
