Re: MakeCD available for free!
Too bad. The last beta was only 2 years ago. (I mean other software development stopped more time ago)

Re: MakeCD available for free!
This is the only Amiga burning s/w I use. First on A1200, the on A1, then on A1200 again (hopefully it'll return to A1 soon, the module is going to the trip to Italy tomorrow ).
Very intuitive (at least for me) and with extensive help. And, imho, worh every penny I put for the DAO version. After PFS3 it is the most frequently used software I've bought. Oh, and the support is excellent and swift (had to recover the serial number I managed to partly destroy, e-mail to Patrick and he resent the number) All I can say: thanks developing this great piece of software, Jack |

Re: MakeCD available for free!
I've been using this for probably near to ten years now. It would be great if it got DVD support, but sadly it looks like that won't happen
I'm contemplating getting FryingPan so I can write to DVDs, but even if I do I'll probably still be using MakeCD for CDs as it allows complete control over what gets written. It's a nice gesture by the authors to give MakeCD away for free. Chris |

Re: MakeCD available for free!
I still use MakeCD for burning CDs and I only use Frying Pan for DVDs.

Can MakeCD create image files > 4 GB? If yes I could release my burning program, you'd use MakeCD for creating the images (of course my program can create ISO9660 images as well, but it's very simple and doesn't even support AmigaOS protection bits and comments yet) and my program just for burning. |
