Has anyone installed it on a SAM460 yet, looks like someone had problems after updating an AmigaOne XE

So far the update is fine on my A1 G4 1ghz.
I`m using a ps2 mouse and keyboard tho.
Not tested usb yet.

Have installed it, so far everything fine except my scroll wheel no longer works in OWB, anyone else have this problem?

it works perferct her even the scrool mouse in owb. the only thing is i f*****d up my theme and gui.. before install so i hoped that u3 came with an new theme. when i rebootet i was infach inforverden but noooo. so shitty meee.

who will be the first to make an defuelt theme for os 4.1 u3

all i need now is some more mem and timber to get final.iff ther will be an solution for the pci slot i will trow in an radeion 4650 pci in but iff not then just some more mem and then save op for a1000 or what will be around when i get that kind of money

Just install it and have some problem..

Yam and IBrowse is not working anymore.. DSI error all the time when try to strat it..

Reseting via ctrl + a + a (USB logitech keyboard) is not working OK,after using this combination AmigaOS is reseting and get in AmigaDOS not loading WB..But when using reset option from Reboot system menu all is ok!

For now have only this problem,get testing.

Anyone have the same ?

i have got some EHCI erros with says reset or stop controller but nether what i do it still comes back and i dont even use usb at all.... but exocist can make it go away...

Well here no problem with YAM 2.7dev and IB2.4. and upd3

Upd3 has a new MUI version, os maybe try a clean MUI installlacion first, and then try to add .mcc (MUI classes) needed for such apps.

And try in MUI about menu option and if you have .mcc old MUI about window will show you such files and MUI can "autodelete" for you (make a backup first if you want).

Try with a "clean" MUI prefs (backup first) file '<<Global>>.prefs'.

No don't kill me i'm just jocking, Roman is busy on real life but OWB is pratically done so when he come back on forums he can release for sure.

Maybe tomorrow, maybe this week don't know, i will mail him at this point as i'm quite sure he miss the Update 3 news completely ...

Great update.

Right now I have Timberwolf (the original alpha) running. It behaves a little better than it did under update 2. Abiword, AmigaAmp3, and ImageFX are also running right now. Reply is coming from Timberwolf.

Also working here are Simplemail, OWB, Netsurf and Final Writer. The only "problem" in behavior so far is some minor graphic glitch with Simplemail. (pop-up menus are the wrong color.)

I forgot to mention that Pagestream4 is working well, too. I had four USB devices plugged in simultaneously, 2 sticks, one SD card, and a Canon SureShot S2, which downloaded over 1200 pictures flawlessly, and very quickly in Picture Transfer Protocol... although I did get a lock up while writing this edit with all of that and all the programs running which I mentioned above.

Just installed in my Peg2 machine without any problems so far. Didn't have time for checking various apps though.

Well, soon we´ll can enjoy the Amiga OS 4.2, save your money guys.

Tried out the update on my A1XEg4 1.3 ghz no obvious porblems here at all, thanks to all who have slaved over this update, sorry not had much time to play with my hobby lately, but i do keep an eye on developments and all new updates are very much appreciated.

USB-Copytest in comparisation:

File: KNOPPIX_V6.7.iso 731MB
USB-Stick: Kingston Data-Traveller 4GB

PC: Intel Core2Duo E4500 @2,2Ghz
Trasfer from USB-Stick -> HDD (NTFS) 1:15 Min (9,76 MB/sec)

Amiga: AMC PPC440ep @667Mhz
Transfer from USB-Stick -> HDD (JXFS) 1:49 Min (6,7 MB/sec)
Before Update3: More than 15 Minutes!!

Thats a very good result if you face the big performance difference between these machines!

But i´m wondering that such a brand USB-Stick isn´t faster at least on the PC (shouldn´t 40MB/sec netto be possible)=?

I´m very happy to choose the right OS

Installed it yesterday and no problems on my SAM 440ep (667Mhz) with Yam, SabreMSN, mousewheel scrolling in OWB, keyboard reset or something else reported from other users. Works absolutely fine here. Much better than Upd 2. The USB port is much faster, works fine with big files now and I can't find problems with some usb-devices anymore Except my printer - I haven't time to test it yet.

Could you also do the test with writing the data onto a pendrive? Do you use some tool to copy files or just Workbench?

So, I just installed Update 3 on my Sam440ep-flex... The procedure went without any problems

Initial impressions:

* Yay, me like the new boot pic very very much
* Oki... the system bootup seems little slower now :-S Well, expected with more stuff to load so not a big deal
* Took one of my USB2 stick and... yes it seems to work great!!
* Started OWB, went to AW.net... browsing feels faster, and wow, the scrolling feels much much faster compared to before
* And the overall system... feels more snappier and responsive too

Haven't yet tested more than that...

After reboot scroll wheel problem went away, but now every time I reboot I get USB errors stating can't do something or other but USB seems to be working fine. Also when I launch new full version of DVPlayer I get massive corruption (random colours all over screen) but dont know what's causing it, Stephen author of DVPlayer tells me it's working fine on his machine with OS 4.1.3!

Kudos to all involved. Installation on my G4XE was a breeze. No issues so far.
