![]() I think this is good news,
![]() ? Partnership whit hardware vendor at last, I assume it?s the same thing as saying ACube has a licence. ? ACube have taken over the Eyetech products, I assume they are in control of the Amiga One trademark and now have the legal right to sell AmigaOne computers or change trademark from product name X to AmigaOne. Quote: ?Range of PPC hardware platforms including AmigaOne (MicroA1, SE/XE) and Classic Amiga.? Because it?s written like this I believe they are not exclusively talking about ?AmigaOne (MicroA1, SE/XE) and Classic Amiga.?, but also other products. |

Quote: “Range of PPC hardware platforms including AmigaOne (MicroA1, SE/XE) and Classic Amiga.” yes, its cleverly worded to be open ended enough should they get a licence to run OS4.0 on other hardware, yet giving nowt away! |

Well, let us not do the same mistake as people are doing elsewhere and dissect everything down to atoms, twisting and turning it to see something that just isn't there. It will just throw this thread into a bad mood. The announcement is what it is, let's take it for just that. |

@agafaster Aye appen, but thats not what I said. I know they will be working like the bejaysus to get finished, SAM440 isnt mentioned here, and shouldnt be written into it - its another issue, and will be dealt with seperately in a highly professional manner I have no doubt. therefore, everyone else needs to treat this anouncement as another professional one, and only read into it what is set down into hard text. |
