Note to all Amigans.net members: Robert Trevor Dickinson's password was hacked somewhere, the user used it to post as him on Amigaworld, Amiga.org and Amigans.net. Until we can establish where the security breach was, I would ask all our members to change their password on Amigans.net and anywhere else that the same password is used.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause

Update: We have no concrete evidence that the passwords here were accessed.

Comments: 2147	Re: Password hack on Amigans.net To answer your questions, You don't have to change your password, its your problem if anything happens thereafter because you didn't change it. I think you'll find it was possibly the default xoops icon that was showing perhaps? Mikey C

The password Trevor used was the same across all 3 sites. It could have been guessed or obtained by other means.
