Re: Sonic Arranger Sources Retrieved!
Well... you won't be able to make it support XM and S3M very easilly, and it's not a player, it's a tracker. But ofcourse, the sources could be used to make a standalone player or plugin for TuneNet aswell.
The tracker is a synthetic one, not totally different to Hively Tracker. It has support for a lot of effects on the synth sounds and it also supports samples. So you can make tunes that exist of both samples and synthetic sounds. A cool sidenote, Sonic Arranger 2.18 was never available for free, it was commercial. Only v2.16 was available. Here's a link to some Sonic Arranger tunes: http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/pages/SA-SonicArranger.html You can use UADE to play them: http://www.os4depot.net/share/audio/play/uade-nicomen.lha And finally, here's some screenshots: http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/formats/sonic/SARR1.GIF http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/formats/sonic/SARR2.GIF http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/formats/sonic/SARR3.GIF http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/formats/sonic/SARR4.GIF http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/formats/sonic/SARR5.GIF http://www.exotica.org.uk/tunes/formats/sonic/SARR6.GIF A MUI interface would be really really cool together with AHI support. |
