Software News : The FULL version of Roadshow is NOW available to buy

Software News

From today, the full version of the Roadshow TCP/IP stack for 68K is available to buy through the APC&TCP online store.

Roadshow is an Amiga TCP/IP stack, that allows you to connect to the Internet, to access your e-mail, web pages, chat, etc. It can also be used to access and exchange files within your local home network.

Roadshow is one of the fastest, if not THE fastest Amiga TCP/IP stack.

Some features include:

- Amiga-ised configuration utilities rather than the terse and somewhat cryptic Unix legacy tools
- DHCP configuration for Ethernet devices
- "TCP:" device support, for use with, for example, ARexx scripts
- Enhanced & cleaned-up software development kit, that includes the complete source code to all the configuration tools and sample programs

and ... much more ...

Hi, as an os4 user do I really need to buy this? Surely as a component of os4 I can only assume that it will be bundled with os4.2 or via amiupdate for existing users?

no. roadshow is the native TCP/IP stack included with OS4. this announcement regards a backport for folks running OS3 on 68K hardware.
