So we just need to know the final specs, when and how much!

With their trackrecord (goes for both companies) I would have expected some pictures aswell. I'm still a bit sceptic about this but really really hope Amiga begins to deliver on their promises.

I don't hope this means the SAM board won't be granted a license, as more hardware can only be a good thing.

Congrats to ACK and Amiga...When they deliver!

So Amiga Inc. made a deal with ACK, and Hyperion with ACube. Hmmm...

I wonder if both alliances will produce hardware for OS4, and not some other OS like OS5 or AmigaAnywhere. Hmmm...

It is strange that they don't say anything about Hyperion or OS4 in the press release.

ACK and hyperion have been in good relations...
I read only words of suport from Hyperion guys for ACK ...untill now..
We will see

Well I'm waiting to see what turns up later this week on their website before passing any kind of judgement.

the press release is all about hardware. nothing is mentioned about software. maybe it cant be mentioned due to the legal 'stuff' going on, so when that is sorted then either amiga.inc or hyperion can sell it.

also, as an after thought, as amiga.inc have done things like buy up dev companies in india, and sponsor a building in kent USA, maybe other companies see them as being a big company, and are more likely to allow them access to software and hardware specs, like things that were in the power macs, and drivers for gfx cards. if they can get access then adam can get access.

I think this puts Amiga Inc again in some positive light, I started question if they where capable of making contracts.

I can understand way ACK did go quite, and I?m where interested in what kind of hardware they have in there pocket.

I eagerly want to hear news regarding Amiga OS 4.0 and its future. Although new hardware is nice it really is only 1/2 the system.

Lets just hope that Amiga, Incs lawyers and Hyperions Lawyers come to a sensible decision. ACK and Amiga, Inc. are American, right? Hyperion Entertainment and ACube are European... Its not exactly rocket science to cross polinate and have Hyperion and ACube distribute OS4 in Europe, Africa and Australiasia along with ACube AND ACK hardware and Amiga, Inc. do the distribution of OS4, and the hardware in the North America, South America and Asia.

Its not hard is it? Can they not share? grrrr!
