Re: aTunes 1.0, FastView 1.7, NetDock 50.9 and qt (smTube...
@zzd10h
It is possible to add to smTube one more option to RMB menu "Play in Loop" ? Sometime when video is good enough will be nice to have it repeated again and again. There even sites done special for simle loop replay like http://www.tubereplay.com. But will be nice if it can be just one more option in RMB menu, if possible of course. |

For new feature request maybe it would be better to ask the original author directly .. consider that Guillaume already sent his Amiga diffs to the authors asking for integration ..

I assume i better ask here, and if Guillaume will in interest he will worry about.
edit: wow, i for now found one video to which i have "due to changes on youtube, video can't be played or recorder, want to download and apply new code ?" i press yes, code downloads, and video start to plays again. Cool ! |

Kas1e :
As Samir said, I prefer not to add extra "features". Eventually if the original author don't reply to our code and new translations (italian, german & french) integration requests... Just to know if it's possible, Kas1e, is MPlayer have a switch option to play a file/stream in loop ? Yes, cool option, the self updatable code ;) The smTube/smPlayer team made a very good work ! |

Kas1e :
If MUIMplayer does it, why don't download the video that you want with smTube (with RMB context menu) and watch it in loop with MUIMplayer ? |

Sure there always solutions. I also can use replaytube.org and whatever else. Its just can be pretty much better if i just need no worry about download, then running one more program, then choice file, then set settings and so on. While if there is just one more option under Play Video called Play Video In Loop, it can save a lot of unnecessary boredom. Usual stuff to make life easy :) But if you do not want to worry, then skip it of course, not big deal. Its already good enough. |

Got a first crash with SmTube. I just run it, play about 10 different videos, then thinking about download one of them to ram: (so to open mplayer later, and play it in loop), press on "settings" button, make active gadget with path to save files, press "chancel" in that setting window, and bang, freeze/crash in input.device and co. Stack trace suck a lot as didn't show anything about app, only graphics.library and kernel: Quote:
I mostly think its some bug in QT itself, but maybe worth of note. Sadly to say , but after reboot i can't reproduce it. Also it seems when i setup in setting to save path just a RAM:, it still didn't save there, but dunno where, and when download finished and i press "open folder" (just to find out where is it), it didn't opens. If i just dbl-click on that file in download window (i.e. when i have RAM: in settings), it says "the file does not exits, would you like to remove it from the list ?" May it be that native amiga patches just not works in current version ? |

I, too, encountered some freezes sometimes with somes qt apps, not only smTube, I don't know why... seems to be always when a file is writing (settings files save)
For the download, did you write /RAM Disk/ in unix way or RAM: in amiga way ? /RAM Disk/ works for me, sure, I use this download path. |

OK but if you specify /RAM Disk/ it works, right ?
Yes. I know that it's not Amiga, but at least, it works :) |
