Re: Software Support
Heh, great idea
Does it mean we can post there in case of feature requests, bugs, etc.? And do the authors of the packages do come there regulary to check, make comments, too? |

Re: Software Support
Would be cool if these are semi-official in that the authors look here.

Re: Software Support
I'm not sure what the point of this is...surely it is easier to email the developer directly, rather than to post here and hope the developer eventually reads it?

Re: Software Support
IIRC The developers will be checking in here regularly.
If I recall what Henning saif to me correctly, the forums have been developed in consultation with the developers who have signed up. Mind you, at my age, the memory starts going south |

Re: Software Support
Good idea.
It will be a sort of communication-platform between the developers and all the users on amigans.net. |

Re: Software Support
The IBrowse forum is un-official, we would rather people use the mailing list for support.
However as Henning asked us and as there are numerous questions that have arose on various forums over the years, we thought it would make sense to have an un-official forum that was clearly defined as such, rather than it be hidden away in the general Software forum. I will be answering any questions as and when I can, but equally other users are more than welcome to help out if they can, as that was kinda my idea when I said yes to Henning. Best Regards, Dave Fisher |
