This engine have much problem on my X5000. It freezes when loading.
I have all the latest 3d driver and egl wrapper from huno.
Anyone else have problem on X5000?

I have two different gfx cards for my X5000
I try with Ati R9-280X and try with Ati R7-250X. Give same problems. Only maps me sucessfully can start is when I type spdev map crypt1 Or spdev map factory in console. But if I start new games it freeze system under loading first map. Name of first map is escape1. I even try start first map manually with no luck.... All map works okej in old rtcw engine. Maybe cpu is overload or memory leak I am not sure in new engine. I am not so sure if hunoppc have try this engine at all in Amigaone X5000 computer. |

Thanks for letting me know. I changed my DNS server from Google to my ISP and I could access. Changed back to Google DNS and cannot, go figure. I downloaded what I need but will keep trying to see what happends.

Yes All demos work in this folder. I even try many many many times for be sure about that. I can start some maps from Console map crypto1 or map factory, For example works if I load it straight from Console menu.. Very strange behavior with all this freeze when loading some other maps. |

Yes the problem is present just on X5000
I check this problem on my lib and on rtcw engine
Please validate me.. all X5000 crash ???
Me he crash on betatest system and i have not standard user system on this machine
Please test my exmple EGL on kit dev, he working fine on X5000 ?
I have tested on sfs02 and ngfs he crash

The nx-engine.lha archive (md5sum 58584d36944a07c9dac4a1469261d6df) appears to be corrupt.
I've tried extracting with UnArc, AmigaOS4 lha 2.15 and UNIX lha. All of them fail on extracting the file "NX-Engine/CaveStory-Bonus/Cave Story Soundtrack/music/Plant.mp3".

It's very special this problem on loading map and weapon on X5000, i use a similar system and use a SFS2 on my two machines, on X1000 he working fine and on my X5000 he stop my machine and cut computer (powerOFF) on loading, bad allocation memory ;-( I search. You can run any screenmode afaik. The problem is the character and general textures. They have to be set to low.

I didn't have to, I have all details set up to maximum and all works smoothly Pity I'm unable to set up fullhd resolution in fullscreen, but anyway, I'm really glad it is working thanks for help |

You are welcome. 1600x1200 seems to the closet to Full HD. Also on the Windows version. Looks like problem with the other X5000 users could be with the SI cards and video ram. My Rx560 has 4GB. Not many SI cards have more than 2GB .Could be a memory alignment issue. |

Anyone managed to run the game on a Beta-OS4 X5000 ? It can't find any PAK files..I tried on SFS, FFS and NGFS formatted partitions. |
