Re: Hyperion Fires Team Lead and Core Developer
I find it sad how over the years you were so trapped by Hyperion enforced NDA agreements you were unable to engage with your customers properly.
I hope you can be employed to make great things for the Amiga community through A-eon perhaps? All the best Ssolie. |

Work for free
Fires sounds like you was hired :) Working for free didn't mean anyone can hire of fires anyone. Probably soon Hyperion will loose all devs who work for free. Or you pay, or nothing will be done.
Through very strange that they also remove you from developer team, even if it was/will one single commit per year, it still better than nothing at all. But probabaly they hope there still those ones who will do the work for free for them. |

message to Trevor
Specialized hw without own software is a non sense, look at apple as example..
Hire ssolie in aeon now, buy hyperion and develop a new AmigaOS 5 with specialized software :-)

Thanks for all your support!
As a 33-year Amigan and organizer of the AmiWest show in the US, I have always appreciated Steven as an inspirational leader as well as an amazing technical master of the Amiga sphere. I offer my salute to you, my friend and colleague, as this particular chapter "ends".
BTW, Steven will be leading the AmiWest DevCon in Sacramento in October. Please see amiwest.net for updates on the content of the DevCon and ssolie's continuing role in Amiga software development. Hyperion is just one of the companies in the mix. |

Are you open to collaborate on an open source update to Python?
