One more thing...
If you think that plain insecure FTP is good enough, then
check this out. That's one of the key reasons that I wrote ZitaFTP Server even though there's a free FTP server available on os4depot.

Client for Android?
Has anyone found an FTP client for Android that works with ZitaFTP server?
(I've tried a few, and can't get any of them to work.)

Re: Client for Android?
@trixie
Thanks. @PEB Total Commander's FTP plugin should work. I've decided to cave in and have ZitaFTP pretend that it's running on Unix. Clients like AndFTP check the system type with SYST, say "WTF is AmigaOS?"** and bail out. Pretending to be a Unix system will work around clients that misuse the SYST information. Hans ** Okay, it's more like "unrecognized system type," but it amounts to the same thing. |

Now works with default FTP client in Linux Ubuntu. Much more useful for me personally. Thanks very much. |
