Re: Dream17 needs your help...
I'd never heard of this project before and Team 17 games are some of the best.

@ stianstr
http://www.dream17.co.uk/softography.php Click this link, select the game which interests you the most, and then click on downloads. Dream17 is one of those websites we cannot afford to lose. If we want to preserve a part of Amiga history and cater for the retro gaming market, then we must support those people who make websites like this one. AF |

Re: Dream17 needs your help...
Have they been in contact with Amiga Inc.?
They could arrange a download for the games to use with their Amiga Forever 2006 download or even with the 'other' systems. Worth to try i would say. |

Re: Dream17 needs your help...
Good news from Ben Paddon of Dream17
I have been absolutely inundated with response to the recent announcement that Dream17 is in need of assistance. I've had tons of emails of support, a few donations (we're just over the ?50 mark at the moment), four offers from people offering to host the site for us, and two offers from people who are capable of getting a Vector version of the site logo knocked together for some Dream17 merchandise. I have always been of the impression that interest in this website was minimal, as we don't generally get many comments and the forum is practically dead. But judging by the emails I've had... well, my gob is well and truly smacked. I think it's safe to say that the future of Dream17 is utterly secure for now, and I thank you for your kind words and donations and so forth. Right now my advice to you is to stop donating. We'll get the logo sorted out sooner rather than later and maybe you'll be able to grab a Dream17 tee-shirt or something before Christmas. Thanks again for the support - you lot are phenomenal! |
