Re: Process Ranger 1.2
This is very useful, especially now that it has stack usage displayed. Great Work.

Re: Process Ranger 1.2
I really like Process Ranger a lot.
OK, here is a feature request that might go beyond what you intend for this program, but could you add a couple of tabs to switch between lists of tasks, active ARexx ports, and assigns? I know that Scout does this and more, but it could be nice to have this wrapped up in "Ranger" (which would make it more than a "Process" Ranger). What would also be cool, though potentially dangerous, would be if one could terminate a selected task, port, or assign from within the Ranger window. |

Re: Process Ranger 1.2
And what about copying this in the SDK?

Re: Process Ranger 1.2
@PEB
I'm working on adding a list of Tasks so that I can see both Processes and Tasks. A list of ARexx ports sounds generally useful. A list of assigns is already available via the shell. As for terminating tasks, ports, etc. I won't be adding any functions which lead to leaving the system in an undefined state. For example, sending signals to tasks is fine while closing windows is illegal and leaves the system in an undefined state. |
