Re: AmiPhoto 1.5 available
I'm not sure what this does?
Can you do an automated slide show? Can it open on it's own screen and you can show photos in a loop, with each picture being presented for a different amount of time and/or jump to next picture on mouse or say spacebar press? For instance, it runs in timed mode, and if someone presses backspace key, it goes back one, then if no other keypresses are done, it continues in it's timed mode. Pause key could be toggle pause/continue. "C" (clock) or "T" (time) key would display time photo was taken (if available) AND current time, maybe "I" for info of size/colour depth/jpeg/tiff etc. Price is very reasonable. |

Re: AmiPhoto 1.5 available
Great stuff. I use both iPhoto (on the Mac) and AmiPhoto to catalog my pics these days.

Just installed version 1.5 under Final 4.0. It seems to work well! The intro blurb from the AmiPhoto manual states:- "AmiPhoto is a photo album for Amiga OS 4, which can administer up to a 2.5 million pictures. Through a skin-able GUI you can adapt AmiPhotos appearance. AmiPhoto doesnt need any further libraries to work and uses datatypes for an optimally picture mport." It can open on WB or it's own screen. Photos can be displayed in a timed slideshow, the timming of which is configurable. I don't think you can alter the slideshow once it is running, other than stopping it and manually moving back (or forward) to another picture. IMHO the 1.5 version is a big improvement on the previous edition. TrevorDick |
