Re: Master Control Program 1.46
to OS4 users:
this thing is known for breaking stuff so if you have instability problems or stuff all of a sudden stopped working, please remove mcp and try again...before you do crashlogs or need help with some problems. other than that, very nice to see this tool is still developed further, i thought it was dead ages ago. cheers |

MCP's features can be divided into two types. Those with patches and those without them (which are called commodities and should be safe to use). If you experience any problems, I would disable all the patches first. |

Re: Master Control Program 1.46
It seems to me that just about everything in that list is already implemented properly in OS4. I wouldn't recommend that people install it on an OS4 system unless they have a complete debugging setup and are able to localise and identify problems.

Re: Master Control Program 1.46
This was my favourite multi-purpose patch under 3.x. I always found it quite stable (especially when compared to MCX).
But as Tony says - not much there that we don't have properly under OS4. |

Re: Master Control Program 1.46
I wonder if the multimedia key support is similar or on par with the allkeys effort?

Re: Master Control Program 1.46
Perhaps in next release it can add a patch for proper file listers, ala opus magellan. I'd install it in a nanosecond :o)
