![]() This new 1.5.0 version is much faster than the old 1.4.x version on Linux version of EUAE. Good work ! One problem exists still. Menus will disappear immediately after they're opened. I have to make them "sticky" to be able to use menus at all. (ps2 mouse). Sticky menus works but Intuition compatible ones don't (like in all previous versions I have tested). Looks like you removed the bootup screen.
I tried to run Slamtilt game but the whole system (in emulation) froze. Btw. I had forgotten I had one shared partition with Samba on my A1. I was shocked to see an icon of that shared partition on the AmiKit desktop. I don't remember anymore if I did setup that connection myself in AmiKit or did AmiKit really find it fully automaticly by itself !? If it did find it automaticly then that's cool. |

![]() Yeah the menu problem will hopefully go away with a new EUA-E. I've tried a newer non public build of e-uae and there it works as it should. It will also fix a problem with screen resolutions. The currently available e-uae (wip4) does not work with all of the amikit preconfigured screen resolutions. But code from winuae has been merged with e-uae to take care of it.

Hmmm, I thought I've set the sticky menus in Linux port of AmiKit. Apparently not. Sorry. |

![]() @AmiKit
I just installed it on my vista laptop, looks nice & seems to work ok. Just one problem, I have this big pink cursor stuck to the pointer. It flashes on & off & is on steady when the pointer is moved around. Doesn't affect the operation, just looks bad. Problem solved with WinUAE 1.4.6. ![]() |
