Re: DigitalUniverse 1.6 Demo
For future news items,
A link to the retail/author's website where the full version can be purchased from, would, IMHO be a good idea |

A list of the new features could be interesting, also.

> A link to the retail/author's website where the full version can be purchased from, would, IMHO be a good idea. I thought I already had. It seems to have gone missing now. I have just edited the item to include this and also the URL of the Aminet download which is now available. Does this take some time to appear as it looks as if the original text us still there ? [Edit] Looks like I can't edit the news item, well I can but nothing then seems to happen with it ! So the URL is shown below: http://www.digitaluniverse.org.uk/ Details on the update - I was going to include that information in a news item when the full version is ready for release. Which is not quite yet. It will actually be released as an update to version 1.5, the details of purchasing 1.5 are already available. The update is of course free. |

You could download the archive and read the history file Or alternatively I just posted a copy of it on AWN. |

@ssollie
Thanks for the help with the alignment problems I had with the new SDK. I would still be banging my head against a brick wall without your help :o) Bill. |

Re: DigitalUniverse 1.6 Demo
I have posted a new version of the dudemo.lha to OS4Depot (currently in Uploads) and Aminet (only just sent so may take a while).
This fixes the bug as outlined by Framiga. See: http://amigaworld.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=4805#63867 Anyone who downloaded the dudemo.lha prior to 07/03/2009 need not download the whole archive again but can download a file containing just the DUDemo executable (which is all that has changed) from http://www.digitaluniverse.org.uk/tempfiles/dudemo_patch.lha Just copy the new DUDemo file into the DUDemo: assigned directory. @ MetalJoe
> Edit: blimey, I have been out of touch for a > while - I've only got 1.03 at the moment! Goodness gracious that is now very old indeed. You will certainly see quite a difference then I guess you are using v1.03 on your classic Amigas as that version did not run too well on OS4 which is why bugged the author to continue development, little knowing I would get involved myself. Of course already being an owner of 1.03 entitles you to the update price - hint hint Bill. |
