Re: Sam goes to Hollywood
It is a great news, and a great idea. This helps to decide to a lot of people to buy the Sam and the AmigaOS 4.1.
I imagine to NewTek making the same thing with their version MAC PPC of Lightwave 3D and port for the AmigaOS 4.1, reducing the price when buying it with the Sam. Zzzzzzzzz ......to dream is free.... Lisardo. |

Re: Sam goes to Hollywood
Yes a pretty good concept...
I for one though would prefer the likes of the program 'Imagine' |

Re: Sam goes to Hollywood
I have the programs (Cinema 4D, Imagine 3.0 and Lightwave 3D 5.0 with the dongle) for the Amiga Classic, Ligthwave it is for my more intuitive, he has an interfaze more friendly, and him but important NewTek continues developing the program in other platforms, one of them the MAC PPC, it should not be very difficult carrying the code for the AmigaOS 4.1 PPC.
IMPULSE doesn't continue developing the program, and I believe that there is not any version for PPC, there are other programs that could behave easily as Blender or Cinema 4D that have versions PPC. |

Re: Sam goes to Hollywood
Well we shouldn't actually be talking about other software in a thread about Hollywood goes with SAM... but yes Impulse no longer does Imagine but someone else does, and a PPC version does exist... I have no pages to direct you too, I'd have to revise my Imagine Mailing List...
I got to use Imagine alot in the early years, joined the update program etc... it's so easy to use I wouldn't dream of bothering to use Lightwave even if over the years I've collected all the versons... |
