Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
Putting the link on gnash project, and direct link on paypal button in the news itself will be good idea :) new (who not know about) users do not know where it and how to do it.

AmigaOS4 gets Flash 10 compatibility Is that completely true? I didn't expect Gnash to be fully Flash 10 compatible. partially perhaps. I took that Adobe 10 comment as the identifier back to the web server, to help avoid "You have the wrong flash player" messages based on flash name/version rather than actual capability. What are Gnash's actual capabilities vs Adobe version number? |

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
Not quite true AFAIK...Unless Afxgroup improves the amiga version over the current Gnash version

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
Can this lead to Flash for AOS 3.x and 68030, or 68040 and 68060????

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
you can spoof the player..
And it will be compatible and however almost 90% of SWF files all around doesn't use Flash 10 capabilities |

I think I can guess what "Indtast et bel?b, der er st?rre end nul" means, but why is a mystery? I thought PayPal was PayPal anywhere in the world, so why can't I log in?

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
Your guess might not be as good as you think. It means "Please enter an amount greater than zero."

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
PayPal speaks Danish now but my settings have always been in English, so I don't understand the problem??
Seems like Paypal is giving you a small language training course for for free;) Anyone else experiencing problems? |

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
somewhere at the top left of the Paypal sign in page there is a language box which contains at least US English, so select it and continue with your donation.

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
I think need stay this news at first place for 1-2 monts.. Or maybe just make a banner on some area of site. Also need put the same news on AmigaWorld/Amiga.org/EAB/etc. (after some time). And do it every monts :) So, in end, we can collect 1-2 thousands for, and afxgroup will be in real interest to finish all of this. Rigth now as i see somethink around ~600EUR. What is not that bad already, but for sure not enough still.
Maybe (just maybe) if it will be opional to make choice what use : mui or reaction, aros users will be i high interest to spend some money to it. AROS users are in high interest about Flash support too, becouse OWB works/looks good for AROS as well. |

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
@Kas1e
EUR 600 would be great but hopefully more people will join in and make a donation. Some will probably wait until Gnash is released and that's fine as well (as long not everybody thinks like that). Amigabounty.net is meant to be OS4 only. That's why Reaction is chosen for GUI. MUI for OS4 is a 3rd party solution we won't count on. Having said that I feel fine about AROS/MOS taking whatever they can use from our bounties. New bounty is for PPC E-UAE JIT which (if finished) will also benefit MOS a lot. |

Re: Amigans.net Supporting Gnash Project
i will release the standalone player when youtube bug is resolved.. and i assure you that is not a bounty money problem... you can stop all donation here.. but i cannot release the player and then receive 1000 messages with "youtube is slow"..
So stay tuned.. |
