Re: Bounty for E-UAE GUI opened!
Any particular reason why this is a requisite?
Integrated ReAction GUI I would have actually given it a shot if it wasn't tied to one, IMHO bad, GUI. Guess someone else will have to do it Not to worry. |

Re: Bounty for E-UAE GUI opened!
@ Slash
Simple: Hate it or love it, but ReAction is the default GUI toolkit of OS4. @ rwo Sorry, I suggested and added it because I want to do it myself.. I just didn't assign the bounty officially yesterday anymore. Done now. Next time I'll do it at once to avoid confusion. But you're free to assign one of the other projects or suggest one on your own.. you can do that also in private if you don't want anybody else to see your suggestion until you are assigned to it yourself.. Edit: Oh and of course many thanks to everyone who donated until now and will donate in future! Very much appreciated! |

Well the bounty call clearly says "integrated in the AmigaOS4 build of E-UAE", there's no cross-platform requirement, so why is it a problem that OS4's standard GUI should be used? I have done enough of ReAction programming to know that RA is perfectly capable of providing a GUI similar to WinUAE. |

Re: Bounty for E-UAE GUI opened!
@Cyborg
I haven't got an Amiga anymore and I'm not planning to get one until there's more powerful hardware made. But still I found this bounty worthy of a little donation from me. So 10? to u from me I like the fact that.. * It's for OS4 only (means more optimizing and using OS4 API fully, I hope). * ReAction is to be used (I don't like the clutter of using several different GUIs or styles in OS components or even applications. Once ReAction was chosen go full speed ahead I say.) |

@ samwel
Thank you for your donation. But to get this straight: This is a bounty for a GUI only! No other work on UAE is covered by the bounty besides the needed work to integrate the GUI. Though this doesn't mean there might not be some bugfixes as byproduct ;) |

Re: Bounty for E-UAE GUI opened!
@nubechecorre
The Amigabounty one seems more advanced though. (quick start, multiple configurations). Perhaps they could work together and upgrade the os4depot one? @Cyborg Perhaps a future addition could include game specific configuration files? And then list all known games in a listbrowser, a doubleclick would load the game specific config file and start the ADF. populousII.adf populousII.uaeconf |

Re: Bounty for E-UAE GUI opened!
@ orgin
with the multiple configurations you will be able to do exactly this. Set everything up for the game as needed, save it under the name you want and you're done. |
