Prior to AmiWest 2018, I was lucky enough to be granted an interview with Hans de Ruiter. Hans graciously provided an overview of video driver development for AmigaOS as well as insight into some of the complexities and challenges he faces.

The project with the working name Api2 was created to facilitate the solution of the biggest problem that all the Amiga systems suffer from, the lack of new software. Having a relatively small number of programmers, the vast majority of which creates programs only after hours, it is good to give them the opportunity to use time they have in optimal way.

After 12 months of development, Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to present the best Hollywood ever: Hollywood 8: Supremacy. Version 8.0 is a massive update with many new features and bug fixes.

The Amiga Games List maintained by David 'Daff' Brunet since April 1991 was updated with its 48th edition published on 14th January.

To begin I wanted to thank you for all your support and I wanted to thank you in my own way.

There is first games released which builded with usage of GL4ES wrapper which mean to give us OpenGL1.x , 2.x and some of 3.x over ogles2.library and warp3dnova.

This is mainly a bug fix release for the holidays.

After a long development break, new versions of the basic packages for the Unix environment "AmiCygnix" were released. In the main, bugs have been fixed which prevented the proper function of the X server on new Amiga systems.

The V.A.M.P. Virtual Amiga Multimedia Player arrives to version 2.00 with new improvements, this player is programmed with Hollywood and it needs the Hollywood plugins to play videos, music formats, animations and show pictures.
The program is available for AmigaOS3.x, MorphOS, AmigaOS4.x, AROS and Windows.
