Software News : Digital Universe 1.5 for OS4 is completed
|
Posted by BillE on 2007/11/14 17:51:33 (1964 reads) |
The good news is that the desktop planetarium "Digital Universe 1.5" for Hyperion's "Amiga OS4" is finally completed and available to order in the UK and Europe.
However, Dan Charrois of Syzygy who is organising the online ordering and distribution system is away on business for a while, so that there will be no download system until the end of November or maybe early December. This currently limits sales to physical CD copies, posted to UK and Europe.

Amiga Events : MiniGL V1.5. MiniGL gets display lists.
|
Posted by Hans on 2007/11/14 4:20:00 (2735 reads) |
I'm pleased to announce that I have updated MiniGL to add display lists, and made a few other improvements too. MiniGL is a 3D API which is compatible to OpenGL(tm). It implements a subset of that API and was designed for speed, therefore it directly interfaces with Warp3D. This also means that there is currently no software mode.
Edit: New version uploaded

Hi all,
duriing my normal compilations, i've ported Lincity-ng to AmigaOS4. What is Lincity-ng?:
LinCity-NG is a City Simulation Game. It is a polished and improved version of the classic LinCity game. Within the scope of the GoTM project we have created a new iso-3D graphics engine, with a completely redone and modern GUI.

Amigahellas, the Greek Amiga community, was present at the greatest Greek technological exhibition D.T.E. 2007 (Digital Technology Expo), in charge of the "computer history" stand. With the valuable help from the organizing company, we managed to give the opportunity to both young and older visitors to meet and use computers from the past.

Amiga Events : X-Amiga beta release
|
Posted by Fractallyte on 2007/11/7 1:24:07 (3291 reads) |
X-Amiga is a minimal Linux environment for E-UAE. Here is an alternative to the massive overhead of Windows/OSX/Ubuntu/[other Linux flavours] - a sleek, fast OS that acts solely as a host for Amiga emulation. A CD-based installer is now available for x86. The website is: http://www.xamiga.net
