Qt 6 progress

Face of Qt 6

I suggest, we make a poll. Those who believe, that this will change into a fully fledged clock in one week from now answer 'yes', and those who disbelieve answer 'no'. :)

BTW: How do you create a poll?

I'd say yes. You have a nice frame there so you ought to be able to fill it up with something clock-like in a week :)

If you said it would be two weeks I'd call bull crap but since you said 1 week I'm sure you will do it!

Can't imagine how much work it was getting that far. Thank you for sharing!

PS don't forget about Amiwest in October!

Voila.

Qt6 Clock

Of course, what you see is a bit of a cheat. This is produced by saving the image to a file from an offscreen framebuffer. I doubt, though, that it will be any problem coupling the frame to an actual window in a week or so. Qt has progressed much, and it is really well organized in this way.

And thanks for the energizing commitments - it is a really nice environment to work in. :)

Don't worry. I will make a proper resizable clock in one week and post a video. ;)

Phew... Made it!

Qt 6 Clock on AmigaOS 4.1

There are still some unadjusted features of the event system. For one, I can't close the window, and input events get swallowed. I will fix this. We need this fun beast to entertain us, while we dig our own graves!

Could QT be a part of solution of Office problem?

Open Office doesn't show any signs of life, so maybe QT based Calligra office would be easier?

@utri007

It needs kde libraries in addition to Qt. I will see, how much I feel I can invest.
