This is what I love about AOS, seeing something evolve, grow and mature. I still love Winamp because it started this way and has offered many ideas to developers. watching Tunenet grow up is equally as nice. Love your work. ace |

![]() Agreed looks great.
Any chance of adding an "I want" to the list ? I've been playing with Kubuntu lately and Amorock has a kewl "Lyric fetcher" plug in. Is it possible to have that in TuneNET ? |

![]() @Mason,
Well everything is still WIP, so I don't want to release anything yet as the specs do change slightly as time goes on and we find better ways of doing things. I can say that it is fairly simple to create skins, both in terms of laying out graphics and describing the skin. All skin descriptions use an XML description file, which you can update and watch the changes pretty much immediately using the refresh key. Graphics provided in a datatype format that support the alpha channel are also displayed with the alpha channel in-tact, allowing overlays to take place in real time. Once we are drawing close to the 1st release I'll post more details. @Other requests: Time is the limiting factor in this project (nothing else), lets get one thing out of the way at a time and go from there. ..and I haven't ruled out an OS3 port either, though it'll probably rely on the AROS extensions to make it work. Thanks, Bean. |
